Wedding FAQs
-
Do you have any hotel recommendations? There are 73 rooms and suites that can be booked at Lansdowne Club (where the wedding breakfast and evening reception are being held). Please email reservations@lansdowneclub.com for further details. Alternatively, there are many hotels nearby in Mayfair and wider London. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
-
Can we bring our children?Unfortunately, whilst we love children, due to capacity constraints we are having a child-free wedding.
-
What is the dress code? The dress code is formal. As our ceremony is a religious sacrament, we would ask that you please dress respectfully for the church. We kindly ask that ladies avoid wearing baby blue or white, as baby blue is the colour of our wedding party.
-
Do you have a gift registry? We have a honeymoon / experiences fund rather than a gift registry. If you wish to get us a gift, you can either contribute to that or you may prefer to get us something personal.
-
What time should I arrive at the church? We ask that you arrive at the church by 1.30pm so that the ceremony can promptly begin with the bride's arrival at 2pm.
-
Can I take holy communion during the mass?Only the wedding couple will be taking communion during the nuptial mass.
-
I have dietary requirementsPlease note your dietary requirements on your RSVP form or notify Danielle directly at danimillieterry@gmail.com.
-
Can I bring a plus one?Unfortunately due to capacity constraints we are unable to cater for plus ones unless they have been agreed in advance and are listed on your RSVP card within your invitation.
-
Can I take photos? We ask that during the ceremony you do not take photos. You may take photos of the bride and groom walking down the aisle when we are exiting the church, and you can also freely take photos during the reception.
-
How do I get to the wedding venue? You can get to the London Oratory either by getting a taxi, or by getting the Underground. The nearest Underground stations to the London Oratory are Knightsbridge (Piccadilly Line) and South Kensington (Piccadilly Line, District Line, Circle Line). You can get to the Lansdowne Club from the London Oratory either by a short 15 minute taxi. Alternatively, you can get the Underground by taking the Piccadilly Line 3 stops from South Kensington to Green Park. The Lansdowne Club is just a short 5 minute walk from Green Park station.
